MES Teacher Appreciation Week

May 6th- 10^th 2013

The MES PTO has many surprises planned for the teachers next week, 

including a luncheon, chair massages, a raffle, various gifts and other treats!

Here are some ways the students can get involved each day…

Monday 5/6

Starting Monday, bring in a canned good or non-perishable food item any day all week, in honor of our "SOUP-ER" teachers, to be donated to the Food Bank.  Give it to your teacher for the donation box in the teacher’s lounge.

Relaxing chair massages will be offered to the teachers in the serenity of the counselor’s conference room.

Tuesday 5/7

Teacher Appreciation Day

Give your teacher a flower...  All teachers will be given a flower from the PTO, along with a ribbon to make a class bouquet!  If your teacher is male it’s okay – still let him know he is appreciated J

Relaxing chair massages will be offered to the teachers in the serenity of the counselor’s conference room. 

Wednesday 5/8

Students and/or parents are encouraged to write a letter of appreciation to your teacher. 

It's always nice to hear good things!

Our Hospitality Committee has a fabulous lunch planned in the teacher’s lounge.

Thursday 5/9

Bring in a piece of fruit for your teacher to take home a class fruit basket!

The teacher’s lounge will be flowing with gifts for the teachers from the PTO!

Friday 5/10

Wear your teacher's favorite color to school.  Make sure you find out what color it is!

One teacher will win a “tower cake” of school supplies for their classroom, raffled off at the end of the day!

Don’t forget your “Specials’ teachers who do not have a homeroom. 

Mrs. Mangione, Mr. Battista, Mrs. Lauffer, Art teachers, PE, the list goes on… 

All teachers will participate in the PTO events but maybe you’d like to take the opportunity to let them know how “special” they are to you.
